	Prepare for petition (Form I-129F, G-325A, certificates, proof, photo etc.)		About K1 How Do I Bring My Fiancé(e) to the United States?

File		Files the petition to the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office Pays the application fee ($170) for I-129F	Requirements for photographs(See "Special Instructions")

	USCIS accepts the petition, gets the application fee Sends a receipt (P1) to the American petitioner/lawyer

P1		Gets receipt (P1)

month	USCIS approves the petition, sends a notice (P2) to the American petitioner/lawyer Sends the petition to the National Visa Center (NVC)

P2		Gets approved notice (P2)

	NVC assigns a case number (GZ number) Sends the information of the Chinese applicant to the FBI in America to have the National Name Check Program (NNCP) for the Chinese applicant ( K2 under 16 years old need not)

	FBI finishes the Name Check process, Notify the NVC

	NVC sends the petition to the US Consulate in Guangzhou for all applicants in China

P2.5		Gets a notice that the petition has been transferred to the US Consulate in Guangzhou [somebody]

	Chinese Custom has clearance for the package of the petition

	White Swan Hotel receives the P2 on a commission

	US Consulate in Guangzhou gets the P2 Inputs the petition to the computer Sends P3 to the Chinese applicant

P3	Gets P3（Form DS-230 PartI,OF-169 etc） Fills P3, signs, sends P3 back to the US Consulate in Guangzhou	American Petitioner gets Form I-134 on the website or USCIS, signs on it before a notary public or a Consular or Immigration Officer Sends the I-134 and the supporting documentations to the Chinese applicant for the interview	Download I-134 Sames as I-864,just need the copy of income tax returns for the most recent 1 tax years, "Other Information:" at the end of the I-864 is for all details.

	White Swan Hotel receives the P2 on a commission

PRE-INTERVIEW CLEARANCE	US Consulate in Guangzhou gets the P2 Input the petition to the computer

	US Consulate in Guangzhou sends the information of the Chinese applicant to the FBI to have the the National Name Check Program (NNCP) again. [exceptional]

PRE-INTERVIEW CLEARANCE DONE CASE	US Consulate in Guangzhou confirms the date for interview Sends P4 to the Chinese applican

P4	Gets P4

	Pay the immigrant visa (IV) processing fee (RMB830) at the the CUTIC Bank (K2 need also)

	Has Medical examination

	Has vaccinations (optional) (Can has it in USA)

	Has interview

	Takes visa
